Worship Through Service: Sunday, October 16, 2022, has been designated as a day of service for KLC. In place of our regular worship service and Sunday School we will be doing a variety of work projects in and for our church family and community. We will be meeting at 8:30 am on the front lawn of the church, dressed for work. Will have coffee and treats. will sign up for work groups, the bell will ring at 9:00 am and there will be a short litany and we will begin our work. There will be a community pot luck meal in the Fellowship Hall following our work assignments. The following are some of the community and internal projects proposed for this Sunday. Sign up sheets will be passed around prior to our worship service and are also available on the table between the office doors. Sign up now to avoid the rush. KLC property clean up and reparation for Fall/Winter Project leader: Board of Property and Grounds- Tony Olson 5. Prepping Meals for the KLC Freezer Meal Project – possible baking items for the Ambassadors to bring with on visitation. Project leaders: Alison Nelson 6. Stuffing Visitation Bags for Ambassadors to bring on visits. Coloring greeting cards. Project leader: Board of Worship and Witness – Ann Hanson 7. Tie Veteran quilts, other quilts and table projects.
